The Local Academy Committee for Five Islands are looking to recruit a new member of the Governing body.
We are particularly keen to appoint a governor with an interest in school improvement in relation to maths outcomes.
LAC members are encouraged to take an active role in monitoring the effectiveness of school policies and ensuring students are making good progress.
The LAC meets five times a year and reports directly to the Academy Trust.
A range of training opportunities will be provided and applicants will be required to undertake a skills audit and sign a code of conduct.
